Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a fabulous and relaxing weekend. The weekend started out beautiful with clear skies and cool temperatures, which was perfect for an outside workout.
I love having cute workout clothes because I feel like it motivates me to get up and move. I just got these Nike’s in the beginning of January and I absolutely love them. It feels like I’m wearing slippers and they are super cute too.
On Sunday we went to brunch at Papa’s Raw Bar and I was introduced to chicken and waffles, but it wasn’t your typical chicken and waffles it was gourmet and had homemade cream and cayenne pepper. Definitely not on my pre-wedding diet, but it’s good to indulge a little. Oh, and I topped it off with a “bloody beer” that was actually really good.

Happy New Year!
I love the start of a new year because I can kiss all my bad habits good bye and start fresh. This year is going to be a big year and I need to try and stay motivated with my workout routines because I’m getting married! Ahh… I can’t wait. My goal is to do 2 new exercises a week whether it be outside or in the gym. I like to mix it up so I don’t get bored :).
Today we went to our neighborhood park and walked around the track and did some exercises along the way with the park equipment. I learned that I need to work on my upper body strength, so my fiancé is going to put together a list of exercises I can try.
The exercises I did today were high knees, sprints, pull ups, and monkey bars. Pull ups were by far the hardest for me.
